Congratulations to the winning photographers and photographs featured in the 2024 Cape Fear Living Photographer of the Year Competition. Jurors T.J. Drechsel, Matt Ray and Editor in Chief Colleen Thompson have chosen photographs based on beauty and composition, but inevitably selections came down to the photographer's unique perspective and diversity in approach. The use of color and what it represents in the coastal landscape we live in became an overarching theme in all categories. Each of the photographs selected captured details about a place, person, bird or simply the light that could not have been expressed in any other way.
